So we had a sleep-in this morning as we were not getting our bus till 9.30. Yes bus, you need to read Day 10 to find out why.

We got to the bus stop in plenty of time and managed to get the bone shacker back to Scorton around a very round about route for the same price of £2 pp.

So from Scorton to Ingleby Arncliffe was just agriculture and farm animals there was nothing of much interest form a scenery perspective, but I photographed them to give you an idea.

So if you zoom in on the right you’ll see an elevation. We didn’t know it at the time but we would be sleeping 1/4 of the way up this.

We arrived at Danby Wiske to find the pub close Monday and Tuesday all day! Luckly there was an Honest Cafe hearby.

We met Gerald at the honesty cafe but he left before us. Gerald was hardcore as he was camping.

I came up with three definitions of Coasters- Hardcore: Camping , Core: Hosteling and B&B (Me and Chris) and Soft Core: those using a baggage service to cart their bags from point to point while they took a day pack. We then met a Very Hard Core Coaster in The Bluebell who was free camping.
